Next week, besides Skype for iPhone, apparently CTIA will get the new one, Opera Mobile 9.7. This newest Opera brings the latest Presto 2.2 rendering engine that support for Web technologies like Ajax and Flash. It also gets better tools and standard support, Google Gears support and hardware acceleration Open GL ES.

What is the other? Opera Mobile 9.7 supports Opera Turbo, the Opera compression technology. So we can get the enhanced browse speed as Turbo claiming, the data will be compressed up to 80%. Wow.... . This Opera Mobile 9.7 with shinning colors look also has more security.

GigaOM has told that a Skype for iPhone app will be launched next week. What this app will offer? We hope it includes 2 sweet features like the Skype 3.0 Beta version for Windows Mobile, file transfer and SMS.

No info about its price yet. The app will be released in CTIA at April 1st. Although this is now only a rumor but it seems to be true. Another alternative of bringing Skype and VoiP application are not so impressive, so we hope for this one.
